for Dave.....

Okay, okay.....finally posting pics of the gym floor. My brother says I post too many pictures of "other people's kids" and need to start posting pics of the awesome progress that Kyle is making. I have to admit....it's pretty darn cool....

Some day we'll sand it down to get the random lines out (and figure something out for the walls), but regardless, I think it looks amazing. So much cooler to think that three generations of Matthias boys (Bill/Kyle/Curren & Kyler) all played basketball on this floor plus all of Denver for the past 50 + years.

Great job, babe.

Curren is down here everyday...

Macy thinks it's her own personal dance studio....

american beauty

Meet our niece, Summer Louise. Isn't she beautiful?!?!?

Last spring, Barb, Kelsie & I spent some time cleaning out a room upstairs at Barb's and we spotted this wagon. The first thing I thought of was how cute that would be with a new baby girl.

Summer is truly an American Beauty....

The 24 hours before Summer was born, they were concerned that she wasn't getting enough nutrients and/or oxygen because they thought she was small. Instead, out came out a beautiful, perfect little girl. God is so good.

Summer was WIDE AWAKE during this photo shoot. It's hard to believe she's only 2 weeks old. She was stretching out big time for the camera.

Oh, and the proud big sister, Izzy. She is SO proud of her little sister. These two are going to be good friends.

Thought this one was funny....

Pulling the wagon with some very precious cargo.

Beautiful girls! Congratulations, Neil & Kelsie!

Can't wait to have my own American Beauty this summer! :)

baby GIRL

Today we had our ultrasound for baby #5. We are so excited to be adding a GIRL to the mix in July! Macy and Myles went to the ultrasound with us. Macy was pretty excited but Myles wanted a brother. He has come around already....just a few minutes ago he said "actually, I didn't want a brother, I wanted a sister."
The bigger boys both wanted a brother as well, but I think they'll have no trouble loving and protecting their newest little sister! We are so thankful for a healthy baby on the way. We are SO blessed!

I think she's pretty cute already! Now the hard part - picking out and agreeing to a name!!
