tradition

Every Easter, we head to sunrise service in Denver. It's a tradition I look forward to. We also enjoy breakfast in the church basement and then heading to "the bridge" to take pictures of the kiddos. It was a beautiful, sunny morning. Not the best for taking pictures, but yet perfect to celebrate that Jesus is alive.

I remember taking this picture last year (click here), thinking that a year from now, we'd have a baby girl added to the bunch. What a good year it's been. Jazzy is the perfect addition to our big kids!

Love these kiddos. I'm so proud to be their mama! Thanking God for the many blessings He has given us!

9 months

Every month that goes by just shocks me. I don't know how Jazzy is already 9 months. She continues to be such a sweet baby. Still no teeth and not crawling yet, but is getting closer every day. She is a happy little girl that loves her daddy, Grandpa Bill, and Cheerios.

She still sleeps in a bassinet in my room. I'm just not ready to let go and put her in the big girl crib. I know the time is short since she's getting closer to pulling herself up, but I just can't do it yet. Plus, she still wakes up 1-2 times to eat. I will miss our snuggle time in the middle of the night as well as having her right next to me!

We had a little photo shoot the past few days. She is in such a cute stage right now!





These tulips are down at the fire station in Denver. I drop by them one day and had to get my camera that night and take some pics of Miss Jazzy. There are so pretty!



This is Jazzy's first tutu and the first time I've ever made one! It was pretty easy and I'm sure I'll make a few more (one for Miss Macy too!). So cute!

the park

first trip to the park for this spring. This was a few weeks ago, but Jazzy obviously loved it. Looking forward to many more trips with all the kiddos. This weather has been unreal!

8 days old times 2!

A few months ago, a friend from work asked me if I'd be willing to take newborn pictures of her twin babies. I was SO excited to do this! These babies were SO precious and so tiny!!

Chelsi looked amazing her whole pregnancy and looked amazing 8 days after their arrival. I loved hearing her birth story and how life has gone adjusting to a family of five. Sounds like things are going well and I couldn't be happier for her!







Mr. Cade was awake the WHOLE time!

This picture cracks me up. Kitt was two inches longer than her brother at birth (and only 3 oz bigger) and apparently felt like stretching out for the camera!

My sister made some sweet hats for the babies. Neither one of them were too thrilled about them. :)

Chelsi says Ashdon has been a great big brother! While I was there, one of the babies started crying and he sang the ABC's to them. Chels said that he sings to them often if they cry. SO sweet!
