baby Si-guy

Silas Timothy is ONE! I can't believe how quickly the past year has gone. Seems like yesterday that I was at the hospital capturing his birth and his newborn shots! He is such a sweet little guy.

Such a happy baby. Gotta love those cheeks! (this is one of my favorites!)

This is when Lo walked away and came back....he's definitely a mama's boy!

Photos aren't complete without a few of all three kiddos. Such great looking kids. Love you guys!

pool time

Gotta love the good ol' Denver pool. Just wish it was warmer outside so we could enjoy it more often! Here are a few pics from last weekend...

I think this picture is hilarious....

Macy is a little fish this year! She has definitely graduated from the baby pool. This was right after she performed a hand-stand under water.

The older boys love hanging out in the deep end. Not sure what game the big boys play, but they are entertained by their games or the board for hours! Love these summer days!

birthday boy

Myles Wynn turned FOUR today. It's so crazy how fast time flies. He is such a sweet boy. He has a very laid back personality and absolutely LOVES his dad. He wants to be just like Kyle. Even though I try to get him to be "momma's boy" once in a while, I love the bond that they share.

He had a great day today. Many of his friends (cousins) came over to celebrate and of course, we got to take some pics. Myles is at the age where pictures aren't the most fun, but we managed to get a few cute ones.

This one is my favorite. He looks so grown up.

This is Myles' "hi-yah" face. I'm not sure exactly why he does this, but it's a face we see often, with kirate-type moves.

Not a big fan of getting his picture taken...

Kyle tried to get him to pose. Myles wasn't too sure about it. He looks sort of awkward. :)

Grandma Barb's house is always a favorite place to take pics in the summer. Her gardens are just beautiful!!

Love you, baby handsome! Can't wait to see you in your new role as big brother!

dance recital

Macy had her final dance recital of the year over the weekend. She did AWESOME! The girls had improved so much since Christmas, and they all looked much more confident. Macy looked like a beautiful princess (of course!). We were SO proud of her! What was even better was that we got to sit in the very front row, and Macy could see us while she performed. Kyle was a real trooper to sit through 38 different performances just to see Macy's 90 second dance. :)

Doesn't she look amazing?!?!? So proud of my miss Macy!

Can you tell where their instructor was standing??? :)

Macy and the rest of the girls...

They stayed in sync pretty well! (At Christmas, most of them just stood there - including Macy!)

Way to go Macy. You are definitely a beautiful princess. Still can't believe we'll have TWO princesses soon!

junk in the trunk

This is Lo & Cliff's youngest, my nephew Silas. He is sporting the fancy cloth diapers that Heidi makes. His chunky little body is so cute in those plaid diapers. It helps that he has a very precious little smile!

If anyone wants to brave the whole "cloth diaper" world, let me know! I can hook you up with Heidi!! I'm cautiously excited to give it a try with baby girl!

toads

A few weeks ago, it was mating season around the ponds. They were SO loud. The only good part is that it enternained the kids for a few days. Toads were EVERYWHERE!

Kyler had the most fun with it. He caught 27 toads in a bucket!

Even though I wouldn't get near them, it was pretty funny watching the boys.

Myles and Macy had the job of keeping the toads in the bucket. They were very active and obviously tried to jump out constantly. Of course they had to use MY flip flop to do the job. Oh well.

So is the inverse true if a boy kisses a toad? Is it going to turn into a princess?? :) Okay - so really it was just a dare, but Kyler doesn't usually back down from a challenge. Gross.

So happy that it's finally nice enough to enjoy being outside!
