Summer Days

I don't know who came up with "lazy days of summer" but I haven't found those yet. So far it's been busy busy busy! Here are a few of our favorites already this summer!

Myles favorite thing to do is throw rocks and dirt into the pond. He is very careful and doesn't get too close. We love hanging out next to the pond!

Curren has a very busy baseball season this year. They have over 25 games! He is doing very well and becoming a very consistent hitter! He even had a triple one game! It's fun to watch him gain confidence out there. We are so proud of him and he looks absolutely adorable in his uniform!

We also get to watch Kyler play t-ball. Below are Macy and Myles watching the game. They do very well considering how often we are at a ball game (and it's still only the first week of June!).

Kyler about to get a grounder. He even got to play first base in his game (for those of you that don't watch t-ball, it's one of the few positions that actually get some action!).

A few weeks ago my niece Deidra celebrated her 3rd birthday at the park. Mom and I showed up in the same t-shirt. I prefer to think that she dresses young! (That is definitely the youngest looking 53 year old I've ever seen!)

Track Girls, Catfish, and Hardwood Floors!

Wow - what a combination! It's been a busy week for us! Kyle's whole track team came over tonight for a dinner before their districts tomorrow. There were 16 girls that stood around the island! Exactly the way we had hoped it would be used! There were another 8 in our NEW dining room! The past couple days Kyle and my dad have worked VERY hard to get the wood down in the dining room. It looks beautiful!!!! Thanks for all the hard work, Dad! Sorry you are so sore! :(

You'll notice Macy now has bangs. Yesterday she decided that her hair "hurt" and thought cutting it HERSELF (when no one was watching of course) would help...... Just glad they didn't turn out extremely short! It could have been a lot worse!
The other excitement tonight was that Nick (in blue) caught a catfish in our pond! Kyle was scared of the thing and made Trish hold it except neither one of them could get the hook out. We ended up just throwing him back in hook and all. Poor thing!

This kick went in the goal! It was Kyler's first goal! You can see why they only play 4 on 4.....they all stay pretty close together! Too cute!

Double Digits!

Happy Birthday, Curren! I cannot believe that you are 10 years old today! I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday! You were the most beautiful baby I have ever seen - just perfect! You are a great brother, son, student and athlete! I am so proud to be your mom - today and everyday! Love you kiddo!

Devin James and First Outing to Park!

A little delinquent in sharing this (since both my sister and sister-in-law have shared!!), but here is Heidi's new cutie pie. He is so precious! He's about 2 1/2 weeks in this pic. I love it! Welcome to the fam, little one! Fun times at the park! Today was gorgeous and the kids and I headed to the park! I love those first spring park outings! The kids are so excited to be at the park!

Yes, Myles is totally eating his Kwik Star cheeseburger on the swing. Good moms feed their kids supper from the Star, right???? Yikes....
